The claim survives checking. ¥260 and five minutes from gate-side to a shinkansen terminus isn't matched by Haneda, Incheon, Changi or anywhere else at this traffic level — the airport sits so close to town that it keeps a 22:00–07:00 curfew at residents' request. The asterisk: the domestic and international terminals are on opposite sides of the runway, not walkable, not connected airside, and the subway station is at the domestic terminal only. The airport's own first-timer page says it in as many words: the subway is not directly connected to the international terminal.
